Riverside officials are assisting occupants with clearing the Arlanza Fire revived Wednesday evening.

The Riverside Fire Department tweeted in a matter of seconds before 8 p.m. that the fire hopped the control line and started consuming mulch area.

The Riverside Police Department said on Twitter that they were getting together with the Fire Department in helping with departures because of the fire, which developed during the risky conditions on Sunday however was contained sometime thereafter.

“Riverside Police Officers are assisting with evacuations for the homes along Valley Dr. between Mitchell Ave. and Misty Ridge Dr. at this time,” the department added.
