Many thrilled Italians flooded the roads of Bensonhurst, Brooklyn for a successful celebration after their country’s fantastic Euro Cup triumph over England on Sunday night.

Wild video of the celebration shows scores of fans cheering and waving Italian flags at the crossing point of eighteenth Avenue and Bay Ridge Parkway following their group’s 3-2 triumph that was chosen in a shootout.

The road had been shut down off for the game as Caffe Sportivo — a minuscule Italian social club at the corner — streamed the activity on outside TVs.

It was Italy’s second mainland title after 1968. The country has four World Cups.

Britain was playing in its first significant last in quite a while.

It’s the most recent grief in shootouts at significant competitions for England, after routs in 1990, 1996, 1998, 2004, 2006 and 2012.
