Firefighters restricted a wildfire from becoming bigger than a section of land in the Cahuenga Pass Thursday night, and an individual associated with deliberately lighting the fire was kept, police said.

An incendiarism suspect was arrested close to Wonder View Drive and Lakeridge Place, as per Los Angeles Police Department Officer William Cooper.

No further details of the arson investigation were available.

The 1-section of land fire undermined a few constructions at around 8 p.m., however 49 firefighters had the option to contain the blast shortly, as indicated by the Los Angeles Fire Department.

There were no wounds, and no structures were harmed, the LAFD added.

The blast likewise shut Cahuenga Boulevard from Pilgrimage Bridge to Barham Boulevard.
