The average U.S. cost of normal grade gasoline dropped by 6 pennies in the course of recent weeks to $3.41 per gallon.

Industry expert Trilby Lundberg of the Lundberg Survey said Sunday that costs have been succumbing to a month because of lower crude oil costs.

Across the country, the most elevated normal cost for customary grade gas is in the San Francisco Bay Area, at $4.77 per gallon. The least normal is in Houston, at $2.83 per gallon.

As per the study, the average price of diesel is $3.65 a gallon, down 3 cents since Dec. 3.

AAA put California’s normal cost per gallon at $4.67 starting at Monday morning. The normal cost for the Los Angeles region was only one penny for each gallon higher at $4.68 per gallon.
